Born in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, Japan

1972:九州産業大学芸術学部デザイン科卒

Graduated from the Department of Design, Faculty of Art, Kyushu Sangyo University

1973-75:陶芸指導員として鳥取県福祉事業団勤務

Worked as a ceramics instructor at the Tottori Prefectural Welfare Agency

1976:現在地に“加らつ屋クラフト工房”を開窯

Established "Karatsuya Craft Studio" at the current location

1990:工房名を“加らつ屋陶工房” 2003に“赤水窯”とし、現在に至る

Renamed the studio to "Karatsuya Pottery Studio," and later to "Akamizugama" in 2003, which continues to the present
